Risk Management Account Representative

As a Risk Management Account Representative, you will be responsible for processing and actively managing all workers? compensation claims in an effort to reduce expenditures. You will work with our internal managers, third party administrator, injured Associates and health care professionals providing a friendly and knowledgeable voice at the other end of the phone at times when its most needed. Whatever the project or problem, a key part of your role will be ensuring that all parties are kept updated at every stage.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with workers? compensation claims as assigned nationally 2. Monitor all bills for validity and ensure they are paid in a timely manner 3. Coordinate treatment plans for injured Associates with health care providers 4. Maintain all files and documentation related to claims and claims processing 5. Train on-site staff in workers? compensation processing 6. Complete Risk Management tasks / projects as assigned 7. Reduce overall workers? compensation expenditures by aggressively managing each claim, ensuring each injured Associate receives the appropriate care and returning injured Associates to work as soon as practical
Requirements:
Qualifications:
1. Two year college degree or equivalent experience 2. Three to five years of previous claims management experience 3. Demonstrated knowledge of state workers? compensation laws 4. Previous experience with litigated claims 5. Stellar attention to detail
